My name is Darcey and I own and operate DES Images.  I have a small studio in my home where I do most of my portrait work, but I love to shoot on location as well.

After 20 years in the banking field, I realized that being a banker was not what I wanted to be when I grew up! Photography was always a hobby of mine, but shortly after my daughter was born in 2001, I realized that photography was my passion.

My favorite subjects to photo are babies, children and senior high school students. I love to photograph weddings and also do occasional commercial work.

I worked as a Special Sections Photographer for Old Colony Memorial, then for CNC Newspapers doing freelance.  I opened my home studio about 4 years ago and enjoy every minute that I am behind the camera. I have won many awards for my portrait work, several of which were displayed in NYC'S Times Square, however, my greatest satisfaction is creating  timeless portraits that touch the hearts of my clients!

 I am a member of Professional Photographers of Massachusetts and National Association of Photoshop Professionals.
